Now that I have started my photography blog, I can finally do more research on photography and share it with you all. I am enjoying all the blogs that I write on here. Photography has been one of my favorite hobbies to do ever since I was young. I did not get my first camera until last year, and that is why I want to do even more.
I am starting my first photography course next week and I am so excited to find out all the features and manuals does a camera have. I have my textbooks ready for the course and I hope it is a fun course to experience which I know it will.
I have been going on the public bus more often now and I want to explore different routes so I can find some good places to take pictures. Even on the trolley would be a good idea because I can take pictures when we are above the freeway when cars are passing us underneath.
I still have a lot of thinking to do and especially researching on photography. I hope you all had a great day and remember to always stay positive and do what you are passionate about. Never give up on your dreams even if people get in your way, it might be a challenge but you will get through it. Lately I have been thinking about what specific photos I want to take. I have a few in mind at the moment and I am happy with my list. I have four different topics that I want to cover and make it a challenge for me to complete.
One of the topics is travel. I have mentioned that I want to travel in the future and would love to take photos. Some examples that come to my mind right now are, airport destination/arrival, buildings, roads, historic museums, trains and cars, city lights, shops and lastly restaurant. Those are some of the ideas that I came up with when I travel.
The second topic is one of my favorites, which is nature. For nature, I was thinking of flowers, trees, forest, sky/clouds, lakes and rivers, and animals. I would have to visit a place where all of these examples are. Washington would be a good place to go since there are trees and some forests.
The third topic is food. For food I wanted to capture the meals I ate and what the restaurant looked like from both the outside and the inside. Also in some places they have food stands and they prepare your food or desserts in front of you. I could record when they are making the food in front of me.
I still don’t have an idea about where I would find things to take photos for the fourth topic, vintage. I know that thrift stores and antique stores have good vintage things, but yet I would still have to research more on this specific topic. I was also thinking of using my Fujifilm Instax camera for this topic so it can look more vintage. I am excited for this topic because it could be a challenge for me.
All of these topics are perfect when traveling or even exploring your city. It is a fun way to go outside and go on a little adventure. Three years ago, I was learning how to edit pictures on photoshop and it was very interesting and fun tool to use. At first it was confusing, but then once I got the hang of it, it was a piece of cake. There is still a lot to learn about photoshop, and I hope to learn more techniques in my upcoming photoshop course.
Adobe has many apps and features that you are able to use for editing your pictures. I have found several of them that I am interested in. Adobe Photoshop lets you edit,crop, create images and graphics on desktop and iPad. For just $9.99 a month you are able to use Adobe Lightroom (classic edition too), photoshop, and your own portfolio website and social media tools on both desktop and iPad. You can use all of these features offline too.
I feel like that is a great deal for a beginner in photography just like me. It seems like a great tool to use for your pictures and graphic art. You can take your iPad anywhere and edit your pictures offline.
Besides learning how to edit pictures, I also want to learn about other camera features there are for taking better photos. Once I get to know all of the features and all the tools on both the camera and editing software, I would love to create my own portfolio of all the pictures I’ve taken and edited from the beginning to the end. It will be a fun and challenging experience for me in my life, because photography has been with me for a long time, and now I am ready to learn more things to get better at photography. I am excited to be learning about everything I need to be a good photographer in my photography courses. (Words, 304)
I’ve been really thinking on my photography blog and I need more ideas to share with you all on here. I have been researching some ideas online and found a few ideas that I would love to do.
The first one that caught my eye was, black and white street photos. I was thinking of going to downtown, since usually in downtown there is a lot of buildings and streets. It would be a great location to take pictures. Taking black and white photos are really cool to take because you can edit the picture with a certain color on an object and you can do the background black and white.
Last year during my first year in college, I had night classes so I would get out and it would be dark. Since it was in downtown, I saw all the tall buildings with lights and it seemed so pretty to me. I always loved seeing the city lights. The second idea that I was thinking about is the city lights, I had an idea of taking pictures of tall buildings with their lights on during the night, perhaps in downtown. It would be a fun experience to go at night and see the city lights.
I realized that photography is not just about taking pictures, but also editing them and giving them their final touch, which lead to the third idea. I will have to do more research on what are the best edit software for editing photos. Also, I would have to research more about cameras. It is a good thing that I enrolled in a photography class at my college, so I can learn the basics and techniques on photography. I am excited to be taking that course.
The fourth idea I had in mind are vision boards. In my psychology class, my instructor made us do a vision board which I had never heard of or seen one. After I finished my vision board, I enjoyed my time making it and I did another one the day after. Vision boards are an amazing thing to do, because you can express your feelings, goals, or interest on them.
My last idea is taking pictures whenever I go to a different city or state. I do travel, but it is usually close to home. In the future I want to travel around the world and take many photos. It has always been my dream of traveling around and taking photos of every place I go visit. At the end it will be all worth it and it will be a great experience for me. (Words 429).
There is a lake where many people like to exercise and visit the swans and ducks. Sometimes you will see a few bunnies running around, and near the water there are gooses. For the little ones, they remodel a playground where there is a slide and other things for them to entertain themselves. It is a nice lake to go for a daily run or even walk.
The lake is pretty big and the water is a deep blue color. There are trees all around the lake where at some parts around the lake, it gives it shade. You can feed the ducks bread and they will eat it. You can also take your dogs for a walk too so they can join you on the walk.
Everyone who goes to the lake are very friendly there. There is parking at the lake but the gate closes at 6 pm. It is pretty big so one lap can be tiring if you are running. It would be a great place to have picnics because they have tables with benches to eat and it is peaceful besides the ducks quacking.
It is near many known stores like Walmart, Target, clothing stores and even Chuck E. Cheese. You can take your kids for a walk and reward them with Chuck E. Cheese afterwards if they walk with you because kids can be lazy during the summer.
I personally enjoy going to this lake because it is big and you can take your time when exercising. There is a nice breeze at the lake that calms me down. It is even fun to go there when you need space or want to go somewhere where you can think about things.

Do you ever walk outside around 5 or 6 pm and look up at the sky and see the sun setting with a color hue of orange, yellow, pink, or purple blended together? One of my top three most photos I have are sunsets. Every time I go outside either for a walk or to get fresh air in the afternoon the sun is usually about to set and it is so beautiful.
Sometimes I would take pictures when the sun is just setting or other times when I am outside I would take pictures when the clouds are in different colors. I am not sure if it is just a girl thing to do, but I really enjoy taking pictures of sunsets that happen. It makes me feel at peace and it is relaxing.
I haven’t had the chance to take pictures of sunsets at the beach because of the weather at the moment. Once it starts getting warmer I will have the opportunity to take some pictures. I have seen sunsets at the beach on the internet and they look amazing, and hope to take a few pictures on my own.
In the summer sunsets are usually more of an orange and red color and they are bright. In some occasions the clouds are scattered and it makes the sky even look prettier because of the way the clouds are formed.
Other times I just take random photos throughout the day when I am in the car or riding public transportation. My younger relatives would ask me all the time, “Why are you always taking pictures of the sky and sunsets?” I would tell them it is because I love taking photos when the sun is setting down and the sky looks so beautiful.
I believe sunsets are beautiful in general because they just are, the colors of the sky/clouds are amazing. Whenever you have a chance to go outside, look at the sunset and see how amazing it looks, and even snap a photo of it. Hope you all enjoyed reading my blog today! Have a wonderful day! (words:352)
Are you ever bored or feel like you want to go outside and walk? Go to the park. I live across the street from a neighborhood park. They have two playgrounds, one for infants and toddlers, and the other one for the older kids with the swings and monkey bars. My neighborhood park has a golf course next to it where you can go anytime and play or practice golfing.
During the summer, they have a free program for kids under 18 can get free lunch everyday. It is a cool thing for both parents and kids. The parents can take their kids to the park and get free lunch! How cool is that? Also in the summer, the park offers movie night for families to gather together and watch a pg movie at the park.
The park also has different events throughout the year. Events such as holidays (Christmas, Thanksgiving, Halloween), and movie nights. They have a recreation center where there is a gym by the tennis courts and wall ball courts.
If you have any kids who are into sports, they would be a good fit for any park that is near you. At the park they have a huge field where soccer and baseball teams play and train against other teams in San Diego. Another thing is that, for Lunar New Year, they have a huge celebration at the park with music and great food.
I love going to the park because every time I walk there, the squirrels would be playing with each other and run away from us when we are near. They are cute to see them at the park during the summer. Also, it is a great place to walk your dogs because it is a pretty big park for your dog to play catch with on the green grass.
The park is always a fun place to go, whether your 5 or 90. It will always be a place to relax and exercise. Especially when they have fun events throughout the year, it is a great place to spend your free time with friends and family. Have you ever wanted a pet so bad that you prayed everyday until you finally had the chance to get one? Well that was me two years ago. Luna was born on June 27, 2018 and I got Luna on July 19, 2018. I was so happy that I finally got a cat of my own. She had blue eyes when she was a kitten and now that she is one and a half, her eyes are a bit green with yellow. The first two weeks she did not let me sleep at night because she was a bit scared.
Her first toy was a rat toy that she absolutely enjoyed kicking it and biting it all the time. As she got older she got lazier than ever. Luna sleeps in a funny posture. Sometimes she would sleep with her hands on her face covering her eyes, and other times she would sleep with her head facing down on my bed. While she is sleeping she would stretch and it made her body look longer. I don’t know if all cats do this, but when Luna was a kitten, she would sleep on top of my keyboard next to my computer. Also, one day while I was doing a research paper for one of my psychology classes, she stood on top of my open textbook and stood there for about 5 minutes looking at me typing up my essay.
My friend gave Luna a stuffed giraffe that makes a sound, and Luna still plays with it all the time. She even slept with it when she went with me on a trip. When we are out of water bottles and put the plastic thing where the water bottles are packed in, she would get inside of it and peek out of the hole.
She has been really good company ever since I got her two years ago. After I get out of school, I would play with her until we both got tired. She would lie down on the floor once she got tired, and I would lay next to her.
I am glad that Luna is in my life, because she is like my best friend /baby. She is so soft and loves to be around me when I am doing school work on my computer. I have so many pictures of her on my phone that almost all of them are her. Hope you enjoyed my blog! (word count, 409).
Have you ever been to the Zoo? The zoo is a fun place to spend time and go to with your family and your loved ones. I remember I was in the first grade when I first visited the San Diego Zoo. I was so excited to see all of the animals at the zoo and learn about them. I have visited the San Diego Zoo around 8 times throughout my life. Just recently, I was a volunteer at my cousin’s elementary school for their field trip to the San Diego Zoo. I took a lot of pictures of the adorable animals until my phone died and could not took anymore pictures of the animals.
When we went to see the tigers we couldn’t find it until one of us spotted it. The tiger was eating a huge piece of meat while we were looking at him eating his lunch. After I took the picture it seemed as I was standing right next to the tiger inside his cage while he was eating. Here are several pictures that I took of the tiger eating his lunch.
The giraffes are always fun to look at because of their long necks and they are just so adorable. There was an older giraffe with a smaller one eating grass off a skinny tree. While I was taking the picture of both of the giraffes, the younger one was looking directly at my phone camera while chewing grass in her mouth.

Even though flamingos stink they are still cute and pink or a bit orange yellow color. There was a lot of flamingos at the zoo. One picture that I took of a flamingo, she was flapping her wings around.
One of my favorite animals at the San Diego Zoo are the penguins. I like the penguins, because they are small and cute. They swim in their small like with the fish and have a great time.
There’s even a shark below the penguin!
My number one top favorite animals are elephants. I absolutely love elephants because of their big ears and what they are known for their trumps. Another reason why I love elephants is because their faces are just too cute for me. I will always love elephants.
That day when we went to the zoo there were squirrels running around the sidewalks. One even scared me while I was walking with a few of my cousin’s classmates. There was a lot of squirrels at the zoo that day.
I had no idea that the pandas were going back to China. I got so sad that the pandas left to China. I got to see the pandas for the last time that day I visited the zoo. Pandas are cute animals that love bamboo. If I would to name a panda, I would name it bamboo.
Koalas seem lazy and they were sleeping on the tree when we went to see them. It is sad how in Australia the koalas are going extinct due to wildfires.
There are many more animals at the San Diego Zoo. These are my favorite animals to see when I visit the zoo, especially the elephants. Go visit your local zoo with your friends and family.
